The school calendar incorporates the Liturgical calendar of the Church, observing Feast Days, Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary time.
In September, OLMCS students take part in the Our Lady of Miracles Celebration. We attend various nights of the Novenas, participate in the Cow Parade and carry Saints in the Sunday procession. This is an important part of our service to the Parish.
In December, our students work hard on a beautiful re-enactment of the Journey to Bethlehem. Accompanied by our school choir, our students take us through Joseph and Mary's journey to Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born.
During Lent, students celebrate the Passion of Christ with multiple presentations of the Living Stations of the Cross. The students move from Station to Station with the entire campus used as a backdrop in this moving portrayal of Christ's journey to the Cross. Prior to leaving on our Spring Break, students re-enact the Last Supper and perform the washing of the feet as an act of service to their peers.
In the month of May, the Blessed Mother is honored by the students with a May Crowning ceremony at the statue of Our Lady, the spiritual center of the school.
