OLMCS participates in intermural sports and students compete with local schools, both public and private. The Physical Education program is also dedicated to ensuring that the students of OLMCS have a good foundation in elementary sports and the staff is dedicated as well to promoting physical fitness and good sportsmanship.

Students have the opportunity to participate in choir

Students have the opportunity to participate in choir, academic competitions, public speaking, student council, service projects, buddy tutoring and song and dance performances. Field Trips are an important part of the curriculum and students visit local museums, attend plays, visit missions, and various other age appropriate educational trips etc. Sixth Grade students spend a week in the mountains at Calvin Crest Outdoor Education Camp in early Fall. The staff at OLMCS encourages students to try new things and experiment with various activities. We feel this is an important component in building well-rounded students.
