Philosophy

We, at Our Lady of Miracles Catholic School Pre-Kindergarten, believe that each child is a unique creation of God. We believe that children develop in their own time and at their own pace. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is designed to provide experiences that focus on the growth of the whole child. We provide a balanced program of child-centered and teacher-directed activities that give our children an opportunity to enjoy the freedom and responsibility of choice. Through their play, they will explore a nurturing, loving, and Christ centered environment. Our program provides a solid foundation for our children’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical, creative, and spiritual growth.

Registration

The registration fee for Pre-Kindergarten is $300 for single student households and $350 for households with 2 or more students and is non-refundable. The registration fee is due at the time of application (this fee may also be billed to your FACTS Account) being submitted to the school office. The registration fee holds your child’s spot in the Pre-K program. It also supports snack time and some consumable learning materials. In addition to the online FACTS Enrollment, parents must also complete the Preschool Child File Checklist which can be found at the link below.

Students should be 3 by September 1^st to be eligible for the Pre-K 3-year old program and 4 by September 1^st to be eligible for the Pre-K 4-year old program.

All students must be fully potty-trained to enter Pre-Kindergarten.

Uniform

Pre-K students are expected to be in uniform. Boys and girls are required to be in elastic waist navy pants or shorts with a white shirt. Plaid for girls is optional. Uniforms can be sourced online from Dennis Uniforms using school code: FHN (www.dennisuniforms.com).

Tennis shoes are highly recommended for this age group. Due to safety, no flip flops or sandals without straps are allowed to be worn to school.

Tuition

Extended Day Program

The Extended Day Program (EDP) is available until 5:00 p.m. with the exception of minimum days and a few major holidays. Fees are billed monthly alongside your tuition statement.
